Hey K-Ottic Club!
We have come a long way since I recorded my “songs” into a video camera in the back room haven’t we? I want to first take the time to thank every single one of you for joining this community. No matter when we ran into each other or how you discovered my music you are all just as important to me as the next fan. I have now been writing music for over 15 years! I’ve now written over 400 songs for either myself or as a songwriter for hire to help fund this business. Last year I released the “Stone Carving” album and it saw the most success out of any of my projects. We grew from a few thousand fans to over 20,000 on combined social media platforms in just over a year. Last year’s mini tour brought a lot more of you to our community and I could not be more proud of branching outside of my state for the first time. I’ve now performed in over 80 shows and a ton of them opening for huge artists. As you may know, I’ve been working on my 2020 album very hard and I can’t wait for you to hear it. In the meantime, I have one more tour stretch on the west coast that I need your help with. You may know that every single show costs me money. To get more exposure I typically open for bigger artists and that means I’m required to sell tickets or pay for promotion. Add all of that up and it means I do not break even if we don’t kill it at the merch booth, and I mean kill it like I do on stage. Because of this and because I won’t quit on myself or you, fans have been asking for me to set up a crowdfunding, or donation page. That is where this little “donate” button comes into play. I assure you that no matter the dollar amount you donate I am as equally grateful (and to those who cannot donate) and each dollar goes toward this upcoming tour and the 2020 album. Every single donation will grant that person a ticket (or 2) if I’m ever doing a show close enough for you to make it. If we do not do this as a team, it will be nearly impossible to grow my music to a national scale at a sustainable level. But we are a team aren’t we? #letsgetkottic
